Community Radio

For awhile now, the Donald Woods Foundation has been discussing and thinking about starting a community radio station in partnership with the people of Hobeni.

The envisaged project reached its first milestone in obtaining the support and endorsement from local Chiefs and Traditional Authorities following a meeting in the nearby town of Elliotdale in March 2016.

The initiative has been temporarily placed on hold to pursue other priorities. We will keep stakeholders informed of any further developments with this initiative.
